Is today one of those days when you regret not being all that you could be, all that you should be and having not yet achieved all that you want to be?
Well take heart my friend for this isn't the end, and the mere fact that you are reading these words means that such thoughts are obviously absurd.
You see yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, and today is a gift, which is why it’s called the present.
So now you have been blessed with this wonderful gift, you should be swift to say I thank you Lord for waking me up today and I promise to find a way to repay you some day.
If you do not conquer self you shell be conquered by selfishness.
For the Lord says "If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from Heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land"
(2 Chronicles 7:14)
Faith is like a Sat Nav! You only use it when you're not sure how to get to your destination, and then you rely on an invisible heavenly force to plot your course.
Of course the source of the force can neither be seen, touched, nor felt, but still you look to the sky and wait for a reply, upon which you then rely.
Personally I say don't wait until your lost, for that may have an incalculable cost. Because you see on a cloudy day when you need guidance the most, your request may not reach God's listening post.
So between me and you what I suggest you do is pray for guidance every day. This may not make the clouds go away, but on such days I'm sure God would be dismayed if He did not hear your constant praise.
So much so that just in case you need your spirits raised or guidance through the day’s treacherous maze of conflicts and delays, I'm sure God will bless you anyway, just because He was so impressed by your previous day's praise.
If God trust's and believes in you then shouldn't you to?
After all the Bible is your source and a mighty resource, which will faithfully guide you and keep you on the right course.
Life is to be enjoyed and not endured, so get out of that rut, strut your stuff and tell the devil enough is enough.
For the darker the berry the sweeter the juice, I say this not to give you a boost but because I know it to be the truth.
Not everyone will agree but it's your mind that sets you free, and will some day lift you from poverty to prosperity.
You see knowledge is limited, but I have found the imagination knows no bounds, and it’s in the creative regions of our mind's that we shall find the means to manifest our dreams.
You can fail a thousands times, but you only need to succeed once!
A diamond is merely a piece of coal that thrived under pressure!
So by being insistently consistent all barriers will fall and your journey
will neither falter nor stall.
We may not be perfect but God's love is,
and his promise is of joy
and eternal bliss.
So although you may feel as though you have fallen from grace, if you repent your sin God will still take you in,
and embrace you warmly
like a long lost twin.
So lift your head high, look to the sky, then ask God to help you defy and deny the devils intention to make you fall from upon high.
Because deep within you know
God will forgive your sin, and also
give you the tools you need to win.
When all your dreams have been fulfilled does your ambition then become nil or do you still seek the thrill of conquering the next hill?
I wager if you like me consider the thought of losing to be the only motivation you need to continue to succeed, then surely I need not ask.
For the next challenge will not be considered a task, but an opportunity to once again bask in the delight of throwing a left and a right and watching the opposition take flight.
Goals equal gold,
and victory goes to the bold.
So set bold goals and with positive anticipation behold as your God given destiny unfolds.
One may miss the mark by aiming too high, but equally so by aiming too low.
So why limit yourself by reaching for the sky when there are
footprints on the moon.
For all to soon heavens gates will loom and you'll regret having not done it just before they close your tomb.
"Without ambition we would start nothing, and without hard work we would finish nothing,
but most importantly
without God we would be nothing"
I'm not lucky I'm blest and
I know a goal without a plan is just a wish. Which is why to the day I die I shall continue to reach for the sky,
and neither deny, nor defy
God's purpose for my life.
Logic will get you from "A to B",
but your imagination will take you
far beyond what your eyes can see.
